CEREBRAL PALSY TREATMENT

Rupesh
PHYSIOTHERAPY SESSION
So, what exactly is Physiotherapy? Well, it is by far considered one of the most important line of treatment for treating children with cerebral palsy. Trained and licensed physiotherapists provide training that are aimed at strengthening the large muscle areas; like arms, legs, and the abdomen. The main aim of the physiotherapist would be to help the patient gain maximum balance and control over their body through routine and regular physiotherapy sessions.
I would say that if you are also raising a kid with Cerebral Palsy or if you have some one in the family who is suffering with Cerebral Palsy, then do not miss out on Physiotherapy sessions.  It is very effective and by not being regular on this, we will only be increasing the pain and sufferings of our dear ones.

While many believe that there is no cure for cerebral palsy, I have a different opinion. From what I am experiencing with my 4.5 year old kid, I would say that physiotherapy and a few other kind of therapies can help people with cerebral palsy to great extent. These therapies make the patient become more independent and helps them lead a better life in the long run. Parents must understand that development of our children depends on the amount of efforts we put in from our side. It would not be  a good expectation to expect that children with Cerebral Palsy learn things as quickly as others.

What exactly do physiotherapists do?

The exact first thing that all generally trained and authorized physiotherapists do is the assessment. Then comes the analysis of the physical capabilities and inabilities of the patient, keeping in mind the age and various other things. After a proper analysis of the child suffering from cerebral palsy, the specialist develops a treatment plan which will include routine exercises and stretching. These physiotherapy sessions often require the specialists to utilize different equipment designed and intended to gain strength and flexibility.

Dear friend,I would say that Physiotherapy is a must for all patients suffering from Cerebral Palsy and there is no second thought on it. By creating a complete treatment plan, a physiotherapist addresses to the inabilities and various motor movements of the patient. The therapists keeps recording all the developments achieved and if required they may even decide to make alterations to the exercises for any further development of the patient.

That was all from me today, I will come up with something else related to Cerebral Palsy soon. God bless!!

An Earnest Request

Effected By CP
Our child - Rupesh!
My Friend, I want to draw your attention towards a child whose name is Rupesh.
He is a 4.5 year old kid affected by Cerebral Palsy. He is affected by an unusual problem which is triggered due to damage of brain cells. It is a problem that is so extreme that it has never permitted our kid to be out of bed since beginning. Rupesh is not as regular as any other kid of his age. He cannot sit on his own, cannot move, has an impaired vision and as such cannot do any activity that a regular healthier kid of his age can do. He needs health care as soon as possible and if neglected the possibilities of his further growth will be difficult.

The complete restoration from this unusual problem is possible only when the mother and father put in their highest possible initiatives and do not skip any period of the therapies like - Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Visual Stimulation etc. The human brain develops within the first 6-7 years only and then it does not develop any further. Our child, Rupesh is already close to attaining 5 years of age now and we have very little time in our hands to make him go nearer towards a regular and healthier life if not a complete normal life.

We are trying to raise some funds for all his therapies and other medical costs. The fund-raising events will considerably help the family fulfill large medical expenses and lab assessments. Dear friend, please help us to completely concentrate on Rupesh's rapid recovery. The fund raised will be used to pay for occupational therapy, stem cells therapy, speech and motor stimulation. A certain part of the funds raised will be used for his periodic assessments that involve various scans like SPECT Scan, MRI, ECG etc.

Please consider making a little contribution today so that we can provide all the necessary therapies and care to this child who is fighting such a big problem of Cerebral Palsy.

Thank you so much for your time, assistance and for all your generous contributions.
